About Chic Mouldings

Chic Mouldings is the original supplier of shabby chic mouldings for craft and up-cycle. Now based in the Mid Sussex, UK.

The collection is an ever growing range handmade decorative resin mouldings available in a great range of finishes.

How Did Chic Mouldings start?

The first owner, Sam, discovered that decorative resin trims for up-cycling and craft projects were not easily available. So began a mission to find and supply them. A range of beautiful designs were gathered, and are now offered in many different colour options.

Shabby Chic Mouldings – the new way to upcycle furniture.

Sam built up a fantastic following on facebook and became well known amongst shabby chic upcyclers and furniture painters for her great range. This was, of course, when it all started and Shabby Chic was all the rage.

Though Shabby Chic is still a very popular style, Chic Mouldings has moved with the times and supplies a range of styles to suit craft projects and vintage upcycles. It’s not all about shabby chic anymore, but mouldings are still a very popular way to customise your projects.

Who is Chic Mouldings now?

The most recent owner of Chic Mouldings, Becky, is a prop-maker and designer who has worked in Film, TV, Theatre and Events in New Zealand. Here she is, with her best pal, Jelly.

This is the “Umbrella” Website for my creative endeavours. It includes a link to the facebook page I created to host a gallery of some of the photos I’ve taken of theatre and film props that I have made over the years when I was in New Zealand.

I am a huge fan of wildlife and I like to do my bit for the environment where possible. My fantastical faux taxidermy creatures are made using high quality fabric offcuts and discontinued fabric swatch books  collected from friendly local upholsterers.
