Payments

Credit & Debit Cards: All major credit & debit cards worldwide using a secure payment provider. Personal and card details are not stored or shared with any third party. I use Stripe to process payments. You can see their privacy policy here.

Paypal: This secure service gives you, the customer, full protection against fraud.

Colour Range

Yes, Chic mouldings come in a range of beautiful vintage colours. The unfinished colour is ready for you to paint, stain or wax, If you can’t see what you would like, please email me at hello@chicmouldings.com and I can help you with the colours you need to complete your project.

Yes, I can paint these any colour you like, they can even be cast with metal powders, as clear mouldings, or covered in glitter!

If you choose to purchase your Chic Mouldings in any other colour than unfinished off-white, it is a custom order, and cannot be returned. Thank you for your understanding.

Delivery

Yes, I post internationally. However, I am unable to post to PO Boxes.

Your Chic Mouldings are made to order. Items are usually dispatched within 1-3 days of order being placed.

Painted items (i.e. all but the aged and unfinished  colour options) may take a day longer, especially in winter, to allow for the paint to properly cure.

If you are in the UK, please allow up to a week to arrive. If you are outside of the UK, please allow a little longer for items to arrive. I use Royal Mail and Parcel Force for all of my deliveries.

If you are in the UK, yes. I can send items first class or special delivery. Drop me an email at hello@chicmouldings.com and let me know how I can help you. I may not always be able to provide a next day delivery, but will be happy to get your order prioritised for you.

Please allow at least a week for your item to arrive (Longer outside the UK) If your item still hasn’t arrived, please feel free to email me at hello@chicmouldings.com to discuss.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping to international destinations can be delayed. Parcels may get caught up in customs backlogs. Please check with your local postal agent to find out what delays are. Royal mail asks to allow at least 30 working days before declaring the parcel lost.

Yes! But wait! Please don’t try bending them straight out of the packet as they can snap. For more information about bending mouldings, head on over to the instructions page.

If you want to know whether you should use flexible or heat-bendable mouldings, check out this blog.

You can use any strong glue to fix your mouldings. You can get further information on glues here.

Yes, you can paint resin mouldings.

The white unfinished range can be painted, waxed or stained. You can use any type of paint on these, including spray paints.

If you are looking to give your project the vintage look, I would suggest you purchase in the “Brown” colour which you can then paint, and when dry, gently distress to allow some of the brown to peep through. A lovely vintage, time worn feel!

Of course, and I would suggest using either a weather proof paint, or a coat of varnish to protect them from the rain.

Returns / Refunds / Cancellations:

I take great care to pack each parcel well for shipping, but should the worst happen, please contact me at hello@chicmouldings.com & I  will be happy to discuss a solution.

Thankfully, resin mouldings are very easy to repair with a little superglue if they have snapped.

Please get in touch ASAP if you want to cancel your order. If your item hasn’t been sent, I am happy to cancel your order & refund your payment. 

If there is a problem with your order, please contact me to discuss.

If you have changed your mind and would like to return them, please send them back in their original condition. I will be happy to refund the purchase price, excluding the postage costs and 20% restocking fee. Please contact me within 7 days of receipt of your item.Due to my massive range, items are made to order. In light of this, when orders are placed, please check measurements & read descriptions carefully.

If your items have been customised (i.e. painted or custom made  for you, I will be unable to accept these back. If you chose to purchase your Chic Mouldings in any other colour than unfinished white, this is a custom order, and cannot be returned. Thank you for your understanding.

PLEASE NOTE: I cannot accept items back after 21 days.
