Time to grab yourself some free mouldings.

Wow! It’s been a while since I’ve had the chance to sit and actually write something for the blog. So much has been happening over the past couple of months, some very nice highs and some devastating lows.

The Good

We’ll start with the highs! It’s been a very busy time for us with the business expanding nicely, responsible in no small part to the addition of some retail stockists of our moulding range. It’s been fantastic to watch things expand and to speak and work with so many new people. Welcome to the CM family each of you that have become stockists. If anyone reading this post is interested in becoming a Chic Mouldings stockist, details can be found here.

Regent Street

Another nice development for us was that in April we were asked to supply some mouldings to be used in the Hackett store in Regent Street in London. For anyone who’s unfamiliar with London or Hackett, Regent Street runs across Oxford Street and these are considered the heart of prestige shopping in London. All the high ticket brands have their stores in this area and Hackett are very much a luxury brand so it was a great privilege to provide the window display items. We had to take a trip to London to get some pics of our handy-work on display!

The Bad

On the low side, I lost my Mum on May 4th and it rocked me pretty hard. She was only 63 and had been living with cancer for 17 years. She had been quite well with it in all that time but when things got too much for her it all happened very quickly. The support of my fabulous Facebook group has helped me a great deal and the ever industrious group admins have sailed the ship brilliantly, so thank you gals.

So, like I said, some nice highs and some low lows, but I’ll do my best to blog as often as possible as I know that a lot of my followers have questions they would like answered and everyone likes to win something to brighten their day so we’re offering a great competition for one lucky winner to walk away with a set of each of these great scrolls.
floral French Scroll Competition Scrolls Small We’re giving away 4 large and 4 small of these scrolls, enough to create a fab panel on a wall or decorate a piece of furniture.

These are perfect to use as corners or if you prefer they work just as well as scrolls set either side of a central piece. The work you can see in the pictures here is thanks to the wonderfully talented Tanetta Nye who turns out some awesome projects for her clients.

So, how can you get your hands on these lovely mouldings? Easy, just leave a comment in the comments section below telling me where you would use these mouldings should you win and when the competition deadline closes I will put the names of all those that left a comment into a hat and pick one. Simple!
The competition is open worldwide and will run until Friday 7th June 2013 at 5pm GMT.
